Two-way verification
The weakest point of any comparison site is who checks its data. This page turns that check around: we send every catalogue record to the manufacturer itself and publish the answer — confirmation or objection — with its date. You see the value they dispute, their reasoning and our decision in the same place.
Hiding an objection would not be independence; it would be taking a side. If a manufacturer says a value we publish is wrong, the reader is entitled to know that — whatever we decide. So when we reject an objection we are required to publish our reasoning; that is what keeps the decision from being arbitrary.
No manufacturer response has been published yet. As data requests go out, every reply — confirmation or objection — will appear here with its date.
This page records what the manufacturer said, not that it is correct. The verification level of each claim is shown separately on the product page.
If a value in your record is wrong, send a correction request. Every reasoned objection is published on this page, whether we accept it or not. We correct the record without turning it into marketing copy: we state the source for every field we change.
